Two weeks of shop calls, answered in one day.

Duplicate customers merge without losing history, a job card can fix or add a service, the Help button opens a real search, counter bookings confirm to the customer, and consults can carry a flat fee.

Merge duplicate customers, without losing their history

Fold two customer records into one. Bikes, bookings and notes come across. The record you don't keep is archived, not deleted, so an import can't bring it back.

New

Fix a wrong service, or add a new one, right on the job card

Change a wrongly picked service without losing the bike details. A second job found on the bike can be added as a real line with its own time. The price updates itself without touching an agreed discount.

New

The Help button finally helps

It opens a help centre: search across every guide, a short list for the page you're on, and a link to browse everything. The message form is one tap away.

New

“We'll price it when we see it,” with a fee to hold the slot

List a job as a consult with a flat fee to hold the slot. The customer sees “Quoted in store” and the fee they paid, not a $0 total.

New

See how long jobs actually take, next to what you booked

A report compares booked time against real bench time, from the board you already update, capped to your opening hours so a weekend doesn't read as fifty hours of work.

Improved

Counter bookings confirm to the customer

A booking taken by phone or at the counter sends the same confirmation as an online one. A staff cancellation notifies the customer, credits them under your rules, and clears that job's reminders.

Under the hood

  • Drop the bike off the day before, if you ask us to

An optional reminder email tells customers to bring the bike in the day before. Off by default.

  • Tours get a check-in, and one visit can hold two bookings

Tours can be marked as arrived. Two bookings that are one visit can be linked so the job card shows both.

  • Two point-of-sale fixes

A Lightspeed R-Series sale closes itself once Velobook has taken payment. A Shopify invoice shows the customer what the job was, in the shop's currency.

  • Cheaper texting in the US and Canada

SMS prices in both markets have come down, closer to carrier cost.
