Square joins the till list.

Square becomes a full stock and catalogue partner alongside the five tills already supported, and the free first service nudge can go out as a text instead of email alone. Plus a wide pass over the booking flow so each screen reads clearly on its own.

Square joins as a stock and catalogue provider

Square becomes the sixth point-of-sale system Velobook syncs with: your Square stock levels and catalogue stay mirrored in Velobook, and completed sales push back to Square automatically. It's a separate connection from Square's payment processing, so linking or unlinking it never touches how you take card payments.

New

Free first service can go out as a text

The free first service reminder used to be email only. It can now send as a text message too, with its own on/off switch and its own wording you can edit, alongside the email version.

Improved

A pass over the booking flow, screen by screen

A wide read-through of rentals, workshops, tours, fittings, the kiosk and the customer account page, tightening how each screen reads on its own. A service quotes one duration now, instead of carrying two fields that could disagree. An unnamed time window shows a proper name where it used to show a raw code. A service with no fixed price says priced in store, not $0. And copy that said the same thing three ways on one screen says it once. None of it changes what a booking costs.

Under the hood

  • Job cards show where the job actually is

The job card shows the real service address for mobile and at-home bookings, and falls back to the customer's address on file when a shop does mobile work but the booking didn't capture one.

  • Menu sections are a real setting now

Service categories used to be plain text repeated on every service, so a typo split one section into two. Sections are now something you name and reorder once, and every service in them follows.

  • One switch per message, not two

Turning a text or email reminder on or off used to live in two places that didn't know about each other. It's now one switch, in one place, for each message.
