Which bookings am I charged for?
A booking counts the moment the customer completes the booking flow. Cancellations are not billed. No-shows are, because the slot was held.
One plan, every shop on it. Pay for the bookings you take, capped every month. Quiet months cost next to nothing. The first 30 days are free.
* Prices shown in US dollars (USD). Optional text messages cost a few cents each on top. Everything else is in the cap.
Never more than $70 a month. After 100 bookings in a month, the rest are on us.
Billed monthly. Cancellations aren't charged.
One plan, the whole product.
A booking counts the moment the customer completes the booking flow. Cancellations are not billed. No-shows are, because the slot was held.
After 100 bookings in a calendar month, the rest are free. In your currency that is $70 a month at most, and it resets when the month does.
Confirmed bookings are counted and charged monthly, up to the cap, to the card on file. Shops that installed through the Shopify App Store are billed by Shopify, in their local currency.
You're billed in your own currency at a local price, not an exchange-rate markup: a dollar a booking in Australia, Canada and New Zealand, 70c in the US, 50p in the UK and 60c in the Eurozone. The cap is 100 bookings everywhere.
Email confirmations and reminders are included and work everywhere. Texts are the one extra: optional, off by default, prepaid. You top up a balance, most texts cost a few cents, and Messaging shows how many texts your balance buys. Texts currently send to Australian, UK, US and Canadian mobiles; other markets follow as each sender approval clears.
No. Deposits are optional and off by default. Turn them on and they're charged through your own Stripe or Square account and settle to you. Velobook never holds customer money and adds no percentage. Refunds come from your payment provider's dashboard.
Yes. 30 days from signup. Bookings come through and work the same; they aren't billed. You add a card at the end of setup, before your admin opens, and nothing is charged until the trial ends. Cancel before then and you pay nothing.
If our costs rise a lot, the price may too. You get 90 days' notice in writing, and existing shops stay on the rate they signed up at for that notice period.
Velobook uses essential browser storage to keep you signed in, remember which shop you are working in, and route custom domains. With your permission, we also use Google Analytics to understand how people use Velobook. Advertising trackers are always off. Choose what is okay with you.
