Announcements for the right customers, and an inbox that finds what they wrote.
A few of these began as a shop telling us what got in the way. Send an announcement to just your hire or tour customers, switch WhatsApp on or off message by message, find a conversation by something the customer said, and let the kiosk ask your questions before the customer gets to the end.

Announcements for just the customers it concerns
Moving a tour or closing the hire fleet for a day? Which customers? narrows an announcement to service jobs, hire, tours, workshops and courses, or events, and Which one? to a single tour or item. A promotion still only goes to customers who ticked marketing consent.
New
WhatsApp has its own switch on every message
Each message in Templates has a WhatsApp on/off beside Text and Email. Send the ready-for-pickup message on WhatsApp and not as a text, or the other way round, one message at a time.
Improved
Inbox search finds words inside messages
Type a part, a quote number or anything a customer wrote, and the Inbox finds the conversation, older ones included. The words it matched show under the name. Phone numbers match however you type them, so 0412 345 678 finds +61 412 345 678.
Improved
The kiosk asks your service questions
If a service has questions, the kiosk asks them on the Your bike step. It checks the phone number and email as the customer goes, and says what's missing before they move on, so everything is in order by the time they press Check in my bike.
Improved
WhatsApp where texting isn't available yet
In countries where Velobook can't send texts yet, such as New Zealand, the texting option shows as not available rather than a switch that does nothing. Hire and tour messages go out on WhatsApp to customers who've opted in to it.
Improved
Sent to your POS, at a glance
Every sale sent to your till is one row: when, what, customer, provider, status and detail. A long error stays on one line, so the status is always in view, and hires, tours, fittings and quick sales show the customer's name.
Improved
Shorter settings pages
Settings and catalogue pages now keep a one-line summary, with a Learn more link at the top right that opens the full explanation in the help centre. Less to read past when you only came to flip a switch.
