Keep counts in Velobook, typed in or imported from a spreadsheet matched on SKU. Low stock, available and out work as for a POS-connected shop. A POS sync never overwrites a count you entered.

Stock, without a till.
Shops with no POS can keep their own stock counts in Velobook, per van, moving themselves when a job finishes or a delivery lands, with barcode scanning to build a quote or receive parts.
Stock per van
Van A, Van B, the workshop shelf. Counts and imports apply to the selected location, the Inventory lookup can filter to one, and a job's parts check reads the total.
Counts that move themselves
Finishing a job takes its quoted parts off the counts, once per booking, floored at zero. A goods receipt adds back the units that arrived in good condition. Neither touches POS stock.
Scan a barcode to build a quote or receive stock
Drop a priced line onto a quote, jump to a part's stock row, or tick cartons off against a purchase order, with a handheld gun, the device camera, or a typed code. An unrecognised code offers to bind itself to a part.
Under the hood
List price beside cost in the lookup
Cost and list price both show. A back-office SKU like a store-credit adjustment shows its real negative value. Quotes still only read the customer-safe price.
The Inventory page stops timing out
The lookup answers in milliseconds where it timed out on a shop with 21,000 parts, and a sync that keeps failing raises an alert.
Spelling that matches your country
A per-shop setting for Australian, British or American English across booking pages, emails and texts. Only our wording changes, never a name you typed.
One shop address, not two
The getting-started checklist now has one address field, and it counts.
