Pay without leaving the booking.

Deposits can be taken on a card field inside the booking flow, a shop can keep the card for extra work agreed on the day, and refunds issued in Stripe or Square show up in Velobook.

New

Inline card capture on Stripe and Square

The card field sits inside the booking flow as a Pay step; the button reads Confirm and pay. Card numbers never reach us; the field belongs to Stripe or Square. Off until you switch it on in billing. Shopify shops keep the redirect, since Shopify exposes no card field.

New

Card on file for the work you find on the day

Keep the card the customer paid with and charge agreed extra work there and then. The amount comes from the quote balance, with a per-charge ceiling and a required reason. Stripe only, off by default.

Improved

Refunds you issue in Stripe or Square reconcile

A refund issued in the provider's dashboard matches back to the booking, tour or hire it belongs to, and a partial refund records as partial.

Under the hood

  • Payments that settle later still confirm

A bank transfer or direct debit booking confirms when the money lands.

  • Filter customers by the kind of work they've had

Who has had a bike fit, who hires, who hasn't been in for a year, who's a no-show. Every option comes from work the shop has done, with a count.

  • Square says what went wrong

A failed card setup on Square shows the real error and names which Square environment is wired up.
