A booking can now carry several bikes and several jobs at once, each with its own photos, and Events joins the booking types with ticket tiers, check-in scanning and a poster-ready link. Xero books settled payments as paid invoices once a shop switches it on, mixed tax and all.
A family bringing in three bikes for three different jobs used to need three separate bookings, or one booking with everything crammed into a note. Now one booking carries several bikes, each with its own list of services, and the flow is built around picking the bikes first and hanging the work off each one. Every line is scoped to the bike you're editing, so adding a puncture repair to one bike and a tune-up to another does exactly that.
Shops running group rides, demo days or workshops get a proper booking type for it: ticket tiers, a scan-to-check-in flow at the door, and a QR code emailed with the confirmation. Every event also gets its own link, something like yourshop.com/events/saturday-demo-day, so it can go on a poster or in a bio instead of pointing at a generic list. Rename the event later and the old link still works, it forwards to the new one. It's marked beta on the nav while paid ticketing gets finished.
With several bikes able to sit on one booking, a mechanic uploading photos of the cracked frame needed a way to say whose frame it was. Each bike on a booking now has its own photo slot, so a photo taken at drop-off is tied to the bike it was taken of. Photos of the booking as a whole still work exactly as before.
Connect Xero and every settled payment, service, workshop, rental, tour, deposit or membership, creates a matching paid invoice automatically, so the shop's books and the till agree without anyone re-typing totals. Nothing sends to Xero until a shop picks which account each payment rail lands in and switches go-live themselves. A mixed-tax quote, a taxed service plus a tax-free helmet, say, books as two correctly-taxed lines rather than taxing the exempt item.
Joining a full workshop session now puts a customer on a real waitlist, and being promoted off it sends them the email telling them they have a spot.
A card paid through Stripe Link, which gives no visible digits, was chargeable but didn't show as a card on file. It now shows correctly whichever way it was captured.
Moving a booking's date keeps its 1-week reminder, review request and follow-up instead of leaving only a fresh 24-hour notice, and a booking taken at the counter queues the same full set an online one does.
