Share the link, show the event.

Paste a shop's event link into a message or a social post and it previews with the event's own photo, name and date. Hike POS joins the supported tills, and the booking pickup map centres on the customer's actual address.

New

Hike POS is now a supported integration

Shops running Hike can connect it the way Lightspeed and Ascend shops already do: stock levels flow in, and completed sales push out, automatically. It slots into the same sync Velobook runs for other tills, so nothing about how you take a booking or ring up a sale changes, your Hike inventory just stays in step with it.

Improved

Shared event links preview as the event

A link to a single event, shared anywhere that scrapes one, now previews as that event: its own photo, name, location and date, instead of the generic shop card. Which means a link dropped into a group chat or a social post sells the event before anyone has clicked it.

Improved

Pickup map centres on the customer's address

A booking near the edge of your service area used to draw the whole territory and centre on the middle of it, putting the map a suburb or two off the actual pin. It now centres on the address itself. The map also moved to full width under the address instead of squeezed in beside it, so it reads at a glance instead of as a postage stamp.

Under the hood

  • A way past a bike you can't name

Make and model are still asked for at booking, but a customer who genuinely doesn't know either can enter unknown and carry on, rather than stalling on a required field they can't fill in.
