Shops that come to the customer get a location step of its own, any shop can cap how far ahead customers book, and the embed panel hands you a snippet scoped to one page that sizes itself.
Set a booking horizon per shop: a rolling window of so many days ahead, or a fixed cutoff date for when you don't take anything past the end of the season. Days past it grey out on the customer's calendar and the server enforces it too. Clinic, tour and workshop dates are exempt, since you author those yourself.
For a shop that comes to the customer, the address decides which days are served and what the travel fee is, so it now gets its own step before the calendar. The date step becomes a plain calendar with a one-line Coming to your address, change address summary. Drop-off shops keep their five steps exactly as they were.
A tabbed embed picker with a snippet per surface, so a shop can put services on one page of its own site and rentals on another and each stays put. A Combined tab keeps the single switch-between-surfaces embed for shops that want one.
Every shop's embed snippet now auto-resizes, and the frame reports the real height of what's on screen, so it shrinks back down on a short step instead of only ever growing to the tallest step reached. Padding was trimmed to match, so a short step fits a fixed-height frame without an inner scrollbar over pure whitespace.
The address picker never returned the postcode, so a customer inside one of a shop's listed postcodes was told there was no regular day in their area. It does now, and the coverage map draws postcode territories as one merged outline per territory rather than a pile of little boxes.

Picking a single day on the hire calendar needed two taps on the same date, explained only in fine print under the calendar. One tap now books that day, and the next tap on a later day stretches it into a range.
