Trade accounts, WhatsApp, and a five-screen setup.

Shops that take work in from other businesses get their own account, pricing and portal. Booking updates send over WhatsApp. A new shop is set up in five screens and finishes on its own live booking page.

Trade accounts, so everyone who sends work in can see it

Hire fleets, hotels, property managers and other shops get an account of their own: their own pricing, their own people, and a portal where everyone on the account can see every bike they have with you and whose it is. Work can come in as a send-it-in job, with photos and answers captured at intake.

Booking updates go out on WhatsApp

Confirmations, reminders and updates for hires, tours and events send over WhatsApp as well as text, on approved templates so they land outside the 24 hour reply window. Switch the channel on in Comms. It is 6c a message in Australia and New Zealand, 5p in the UK, 4c in the Euro zone, 3c in Canada and 2c in the US, flat, however long the message is.

Setting up a new shop takes five screens

Signup walks through the shop, its hours, its services and its look, then finishes on the shop's own live booking page, ready to take a booking. A shop that works out of a van gets a setup built for that.

Take a card in person through your own Square app

Hand a job across to Square Point of Sale on the phone or tablet in your hand, take the card, and come back to the job with the payment recorded. Works on iPhone and Android.

Improved

The route keeps the window you promised

A job with a promised window is planned inside it rather than around it. A stop the optimiser turns down says why, a van that got no work says why, and one address that cannot be placed on the map no longer takes the rest of the day with it.

Under the hood

  • A service brings its usual parts

The parts a job always needs land on it without being looked up, and booking the same job again picks up where the last one left off.

  • A customer who rings up is asked the same questions as one who books online

Check-in at the counter asks the shop's own questions, takes photos and files, and carries a rush toggle with a cut-off, so tomorrow morning's late booking counts as short notice too.

  • Different hours on a single date, and leave booked by the range

A one-off late start is set on the date itself, without touching the rest of the week. Leave is booked as a range, or for part of a day.

  • Review requests wait until the bike leaves

The shop stops asking how a job went while the bike is still on the stand.
