Hire days and hours apart from the workshop
Let hire run on days the workshop is shut, set shorter hire hours on some days, and let bikes come back on a day you are closed.

Hire does not have to keep the workshop's hours. Three settings let it run on its own timetable. All three are on the Booking windows card, under Rentals → Rental settings.
Hire on different days to repairs
Out of the box, hire follows the days you are open for repairs. Tick Hire runs on different days to repairs and choose the days you can hand a bike over and take one back, whether or not you are taking repairs that day.
- Holidays you have booked off and days you have closed on the calendar still close hire
- Save with no days picked and hire goes back to following your opening days. It does not close hire
Different hours on some days
If you close early one day a week, tick Different hours on some days and give that day its own opening and closing time. Leave a day blank to run your usual hours.
- A day that shuts before your half-day changeover has no afternoon hire, so nobody can book a half you are not open for
- Hourly hires can only start and finish inside that day's hours
- The customer sees that day's real times, not your usual ones
Bikes can come back on a day you're closed
Tick Bikes can come back on a day you're closed if you have a drop box, a locked yard or somewhere people can leave a bike without you there. Without it, a closed Sunday blocks every Saturday overnight hire.
- Only the return moves. Pickup still has to be on a day you are open, so someone is there to hand the bike over and take the signature
- It applies to full-day hires only. Half-day and hourly hires are unaffected
- A closure period on your calendar still blocks both ends
- The customer is told the return day is a drop-off, and that an after-hours drop-off is fine
Hires you book yourself from the admin are not limited by these hours. The rest of the hire setup is in rental settings.
