Booking capacity: by job count or by time
Cap each day with a simple job count, or switch to filling the day by how long the work takes within your opening hours.

Every shop has a limit on how much it can take in a day. Velobook gives you two ways to set it, and you choose which fits how you work. You set this on the Booking hours page, under Booking limits.
Counting jobs (the default)
Out of the box, each arrival window holds a set number of jobs. A morning window with a capacity of four takes four drop-offs before it shows as full, whether each one is a puncture or an all-day rebuild. It is simple and predictable, and for a lot of shops it is all they need. Capacity lives in each cell of the week table, so the same window can take four on Tuesday and two on Saturday.
Filling by time
Switch Booking limits to Fit within opening hours and Velobook counts time instead of jobs. Each service carries a duration, and the day fills as those durations add up against the hours you are open, so a day of long jobs fills sooner than a day of quick ones. This suits shops whose jobs vary a lot in length, where a flat job count either overbooks the big days or wastes the quiet ones.
In time mode, a day's capacity is your open hours multiplied by the mechanics working that day. Two mechanics on a nine-to-five day gives sixteen bench-hours; if one takes the day off it drops to eight, and a day with nobody rostered takes no service bookings. Keeping each person's working days and time off up to date is what keeps this accurate.
Time mode leans on the duration set on each service. A service with no duration, or a window with no times, quietly falls back to counting jobs, so it is worth setting realistic durations before you switch.
