Renaming things for your trade
Call them bikes, watches, guitars, or whatever your customers call them, in the spelling your customers use. Velobook adapts its wording to your trade.

Velobook is built for any drop-off trade. Rename the things customers book to match: a watchmaker says "watches" where a bike shop says "bikes", and your booking page follows.
Set your terms
- 1Open the Booking page section and find the Words customers see card.
- 2Set the word for the item customers bring in ("watch", "guitar", "frame"), singular and plural. You can also override the words for services and classes.
- 3Save.
Terminology is per shop. The custom wording appears on your booking page and the customer's manage page.
Spelling
- The same Words customers see card carries a Spelling choice: Australian, American or British. It starts on whichever suits your country
- It respells the words that differ, so an American shop's customers read "color" and "canceled"
- It applies to your emails and texts and to the customer-facing pages that use those words: the manage page, hire, plans, tours and community days
- Australian and British spelling are the same here, so the choice only matters in the United States or Canada
If you offer rentals, a separate hire/rent toggle in the same Booking page section sets whether customers see "hire" or "rent" throughout the rental flow and its emails. Defaults to "hire".
Who this is for
Any trade where a customer drops something off, you work on it on your own schedule, and they collect it later: bike shops, watch and clock repair, motorbike workshops, instrument repair, cobblers, picture framers.
