Renaming things for your trade
Call them bikes, watches, guitars, or whatever your customers call them. Velobook adapts its wording to your trade.

Velobook is built for any drop-off trade, so you can rename the things customers book to match your world. A watchmaker says "watches" where a bike shop says "bikes", and your booking page follows suit. The result reads like it was built for your trade, because it was.
Set your terms
- 1Open the Booking page section in the sidebar and find Words.
- 2In the terminology card, set the word for the item customers bring in (for example "watch", "guitar", "frame"), with singular and plural. You can also override the words for services and classes.
- 3Save.
Terminology is per shop, so each Velobook shop reads in its own trade's language even though they all run on the same platform. The custom wording appears on your booking page and the customer's manage page.
If you offer rentals, a separate hire/rent toggle in the same Booking page section sets whether customers see "hire" or "rent" throughout the rental flow and its emails. It defaults to "hire", the usual word in Australia and the UK.
Who this is for
Velobook suits any trade where a customer drops something off, you work on it on your own schedule, and they collect it later: bike shops, watch and clock repair, motorbike workshops, instrument repair, cobblers, picture framers, and more. Renaming the terms is what makes one platform feel native to all of them.
