Marking no-shows
When a customer does not turn up, mark the booking as a no-show. Velobook keeps a running count on their record.

Sometimes a customer books a slot and never arrives. Cancelling the booking would read as if they gave you notice, so instead staff can mark it as a no-show and the record says what actually happened.
What marking a no-show does
- The booking is recorded as a no-show, distinct from a cancellation, so your history stays honest.
- The customer's no-show count goes up. Velobook keeps a running tally on their record, so a pattern is a number rather than a vague memory.
A no-show still counts as a confirmed booking for Velobook's per-booking fee, because the slot was held and the time reserved. See how billing works.
Cutting no-shows down
Automatic reminders already do most of the work, and a deposit at booking is the strongest deterrent of all: even a small one gives the customer a reason to turn up or cancel in time. See taking deposits and payments at booking.
