How far ahead customers can book

Cap your booking page to a rolling window, or stop it at a set date, so nothing gets locked in for a season you have not priced yet.

Last updated 2 September 2026

By default your booking page takes a booking for any future date. The Booking horizon card, on Shop profile in the Booking controls group, sets how far ahead customers can reach.

The three modes

  • No limit: the default. Every future date is bookable.
  • A rolling window: the same lead time every day. Pick 2 weeks, 1 month, 2 months, 3 months, 6 months or 12 months ahead; the last bookable day moves forward daily.
  • Up to a set date: stops at a fixed Last bookable date. For a season that ends, a lease that runs out, or a price list published only to a certain point.

The card says in plain words what the setting means today, for example the date a rolling window currently reaches. Days past the limit are greyed out on your booking page, the same as a closed day.

A set date that passes closes your page

A fixed cutoff is not cleared for you when it passes. From then on every date on your booking page is turned away, and the card says so. Move the date on, or switch back to No limit, when the new season is ready.

What it covers

  • Service bookings, fittings and hires
  • Enforced when the booking is submitted as well as on the calendar, so a stale browser tab cannot slip one through
  • Pop-up clinic sessions are exempt: you publish those dates yourself
  • Workshop classes and tours run on the dates you set on each session
