Hire waivers for groups and families
Choose whether each adult rider signs their own hire waiver or the person booking signs for everyone, and what happens when the booker does not have a rider's email.

When one person books bikes for a group, somebody has to sign the hire waiver for each rider. You choose who, under Policies, in the Hire waiver editor, at Who signs.
Each adult rider signs their own
This is the default. Every adult on the booking gives an email and gets their own link to sign.
The person booking does not always have everyone's email. On your booking page, each rider after the first has an I don't have their email tick box. Ticked, that rider needs no email. The person booking is sent one email with each of those riders' own links, to pass on by text or email. Each rider still signs for themselves, and anyone who does not get to it can sign in the shop on the day.
The person booking signs for everyone
Choose The person booking signs for everyone and one signature covers the whole booking. The Policies list shows Booker signs for everyone while it is on.
- Customers are not asked for riders' emails
- On a booking with more than one rider, the waiver tells the person signing that they are agreeing for everyone riding on the booking
- No per-rider links are sent, so the booking has no per-rider waiver count to chase
- The day-before reminder only chases the person booking
The booker option suits families and school groups, where one adult is responsible for everyone. Check it matches what your insurer expects before you switch it on. See policies and waivers for writing the waiver itself.
