Add your first service
Services are the things customers can book. Add one, give it a duration label, and choose how it is paid.

The things customers can book live under the Catalogue group in the sidebar, split by kind: Services, Workshops, Fittings, Rentals, and Plans. Most shops start with a single service drop-off. This guide covers Services; the others have their own articles.
Add a service
- 1Open Catalogue → Services and choose New.
- 2Give it a clear, customer-facing name, for example "Standard service" or "Bike fit".
- 3Set a duration label that tells customers what to expect, such as "Same-day" or "1 to 2 days".
- 4Decide whether to take a deposit or payment at booking. See taking payments at booking.
- 5Save. You can drag to reorder so the most popular service sits first.
Drop-offs are what makes Velobook different from a generic calendar tool. The customer books a day and an arrival window to bring the item in; you work on it on your own schedule and let them know when it is ready. See how drop-offs and rush work.
Other things to book
- Workshops are classes with a capacity and an optional waitlist. See workshop classes and capacity.
- Rentals are multi-day hires with combined daily and weekly pricing. See multi-day rentals.
- Fittings and Plans have their own Catalogue tabs for appointment-style fittings and prepaid service plans.
