Opening hours and closed dates
Set your weekly booking hours as a week table, close specific days or ranges over the top, and let Velobook offer to tell the customers a closure affects.

The Booking hours page, under Admin, decides when customers can book: your weekly opening and the dates you are shut. It also holds the Booking limits chooser, covered in booking capacity.
Weekly opening
- Your week is one table under Weekly opening: each row a time slot, each column a day, each cell how many jobs that slot takes that day
- A blank cell means the slot does not run that day
- Slot names show to customers as their arrival window, so "Morning" and "Afternoon" read well
- On time-based capacity the cell shows a tick instead, and the day's capacity is its hours times the mechanics rostered
A shop with no time slots reads as closed: nobody can book any day. If your page shows no availability anywhere, check this table first.
Closed dates
- Closed dates win over your weekly hours: public holidays, a mechanic away, a break
- Add a single day, or tick Date range for a stretch, with an optional note
- Remove one to reopen the day. Your weekly hours are untouched either way
When a closure lands on existing bookings
If the dates you close already have active bookings, Velobook asks Notify booked customers? after the closure saves. Say yes and those customers are emailed, and their upcoming reminder emails can be paused at the same time. The closure is saved either way.
