What your customer sees, start to finish
Everything that happens on a service booking, from your booking page to pickup, so you can answer any "what happens now?" from one article.

What happens on a standard service booking, in order. Each step links to the article that covers it. To watch it yourself, open your shop link in a private browser window.
Booking on your page
- The customer picks a service and any extras, describes the bike, and chooses how it reaches you, depending on what you have switched on: bring it in, a we-come-to-you visit, collect and return, or delivery
- They pick a day and arrival window, leave contact details, accept your terms (and sign a waiver if you require one), and pay a deposit if you take one
- See your first booking type, deposits and payments at booking and policies and waivers
Straight after booking
- A confirmation email with the details, the JOB reference, and their private manage link.
- Reminders before the day: one a week out and one 24 hours before, by default. See reminders.
- If you take a deposit, the booking holds as pending and the slot is kept for 30 minutes while they finish paying.
While the bike is with you
- Their manage page is a live tracker: Booked in, In the workshop, Ready for pickup, Picked up, with waiting on parts and waiting on your approval shown against In the workshop
- A note typed on a stage change appears there, and so does the expected date when parts are on order
- The in-between emails (work started, waiting on parts, needs approval) are off by default; switch them on under job card setup
When you need a yes
- A quote sends an itemised page the customer can approve, decline or pay on, and parks the job on Awaiting approval
- A repair video shows them the worn part and asks for a fast yes or no at an approximate price
Ready, then picked up
- Marking the job Ready sends the "your bike is ready" email. When the job ran a checklist or carried a quote, the email itemises What we did and What we checked
- Their manage page flips to "Your bike's ready for pickup" with your address as the headline action
- After handover it wraps up with a book-again button
None of it needs an account. If they do sign in, see customer accounts.
