Checklists and safety checks

Ready-made service and safety checklists you can apply to a booking in one click, and edit to suit your shop.

A checklist keeps every job to the same steps, whoever is on the bench. Velobook ships with ready-made templates: Basic service and Full service for the work itself, plus two safety checks, the M-Check and the e-Bike M-Check. Apply one to a booking in a single click, then tick items off as the work happens.

Apply a checklist to a booking

  1. 1Open the booking's job card and go to its Checklist tab.
  2. 2Pick a template, for example Basic service for a tune-up or the M-Check for a safety once-over. It is applied in one click.
  3. 3Tick items off as the work progresses. The checklist stays on the booking, so anyone who picks the job up can see exactly where it is at.

Edit the templates

Templates live under Checklists and safety in the admin. Start from a ready-made template and adjust the steps to how your shop works, or build your own. Bookings you apply the template to from then on use the updated steps.

Safety checks are worth the minute

An M-Check on the way in catches the worn pad or the loose headset before it becomes an argument at pickup, and the ticked-off list is a record that the check happened.
