Running a multi-shop network

How a network parent works: one place to watch every shop, invite admins, see usage and connections, without taking over each shop's own settings.

Last updated 2 September 2026

A network is a parent account above several shops. Each shop under it is a full Velobook shop, with its own booking page, services, schedule, staff and subscription. The parent runs no counter of its own.

What the parent sees

  • Front desk holds Bookings (every shop's jobs on one store-laned calendar), the Workboard, Inventory, and Fleet, home of the Move a bike flow for shifting a bike between shops and the only place an in-flight transfer is marked Received or cancelled. A Move can also start from a suggestion on the Network dashboard.
  • Messaging holds Messages and Funds: the prepaid texting balance the whole network spends, and the only place the network's auto top-up and monthly spending cap are set.
  • Admin holds Team, Integrations, Billing, Analytics, Network profile, Account and the Network tab.
  • The front-desk pages are reading views over every shop: see the network front desk.
  • The catalogue is absent on purpose: services, hire, tours and booking hours are per shop. Open the shop and work there.
  • Network Inventory is search-only and read-only. Stock last read over 24 hours ago shows as unknown.

The Network tab

Network has five sub-tabs: Overview, Shops, Customers, Catalogue and Policies. The Network dashboard covers Overview, Customers, Catalogue and Policies. Shops is where sub-shops are created and managed:

  1. 1Choose Add sub-shop, then give it a name, a booking URL and its country.
  2. 2Optionally add an admin's email, so they get an invite to set up a login.
  3. 3Create it. It appears in the list and in your org switcher.
  4. 4Use Copy into on a row to copy a catalogue across from another shop.
  • Each row shows status, billing state and a link to Open the shop
  • Make associated flips a shop to lead-routed: enquiries stop confirming as bookings and land in the pending-leads inbox on this tab, and in a daily digest, until you approve them. Approving emails the details to that mechanic

People, connections and money

  • Team lists everyone across the network, one row per person, with the shops they work for. Click someone to edit their membership at each shop
  • Invite to the network gives one email address full admin on every shop, present and future. It is the only tier offered. For one shop only, invite from that shop's own Team tab
Logins stay with each shop

Tills, payment accounts, calendars, printers and texting are connected per shop and never shared. Integrations is a grid of what each shop has: Till, Payments, Calendar, Printers, Texts. Clicking a cell switches you into that shop and opens its own Integrations tab.

Billing is the parent's normal Billing page plus Usage this period, by shop and Shop subscriptions. Who pays for the shops offers Each shop pays its own or I pay for every shop; the second is available once the parent has a payment method saved. See network billing and the referral share.

The public shop directory

A network gets a find-a-shop page at velobook.app/network/your-slug, set up from the parent's Shop profile under Public directory: an optional heading and description, the shops listed, and an embed snippet.

A parent cannot list a shop for it. Each shop opts itself in from its Shop profile, under List us in the network directory. The parent sees who is listed.
