Building out your service menu
Sections, per-service questions and small print, "from" prices, skills, rush, and the work you keep off the booking page.

Add your first service gets one thing bookable. This page is what the menu grows into. It all lives on Catalogue → Services, on the Service menu tab.
Sections
- The Sections card, below the menu, turns your booking page into a choice: a customer picks "E-bikes" or "Servicing" first and only then sees those prices
- Add sections and sub-sections with Add section
- Place each service from its own form, under Where it shows: a Section and an optional Sub-section
What each service can carry
- A Default note to the customer. It prefills the job's note, shows on their booking page and prints on their receipt, so a diagnostic service explains its charging every time. Editable per job.
- Show as "from" price, for work where the listed price is the starting point.
- Required skills. Auto-assign only picks staff whose skill tags include every one of these. Empty means any active staff.
- Can be rushed. On by default. Turn it off for quick jobs where a same-day premium makes no sense.
Questions and small print
- Each service's What you ask the customer group carries two things
- Small print shows when a customer picks the service: the thing you would tell them at the counter, like "if one tube has gone, the other is the same age"
- The questions beneath it are asked when a customer books this service and shown on the job card
Work you keep off the booking page
- Tick Hidden from customers to keep a service off your booking page without deleting it: in-house builds, safety inspections, warranty work
- Staff can still add hidden services to any job, at the counter and on the job card, under their own Not on your booking page heading
A whole job can be the shop's own. When staff book a job in, the form's first question is Who this job is for: A customer or The shop. A shop job (a build, a stock bike, retail support) sits on the board and counts toward bench time, but nobody is emailed or texted, it is not billed, it does not count toward your monthly bookings, and it carries an Internal pill on the Bookings list.
