Invite your team
Add mechanics and front-of-house staff so they can see the Workboard and manage jobs.
Last updated 2 September 2026
Everyone signs in to the same admin. Owners and admins see everything; staff get a trimmed, phone-friendly view built around the day's jobs. Add people from the Team tab.
Add someone
- 1Open the Team tab in the sidebar.
- 2Choose New and fill in their name and email, plus anything useful like their colour or skills.
- 3Save. They get an invite email with a link to set a password and join your shop.
Each person carries an access tier: Admin, Manager, Staff or No login. New people land on Staff. To change it, click their row, pick a tier, and save.
Access tiers, and the extras you can grant
- Admin: full control, including shop settings, integrations, billing and who else has access.
- Manager: runs the front desk. Creates, edits, cancels and refunds bookings, prices up quotes, and manages the roster. Cannot change settings, billing, the catalogue or access tiers.
- Staff: sees and progresses their own jobs, with no admin controls.
- No login: on the roster and assignable to jobs, with no sign-in. Right for a weekend casual.
The same editor adds grants on top of a tier. A grant only ever adds; it never removes what the tier already carries.
- Staff can be given Prices up quotes, Takes card payments and refunds, or Answers customer messages, which opens the Inbox for them
- Managers can be given Edits the catalogue or Sees Analytics
- Mobile shops: each person's editor also takes Where their day starts, so Route my day starts their run from home. Private to them once saved: you can set it, you cannot read it back
What staff can see
Staff get Schedule (its Today view is a phone-first list of their jobs in order, each with one big stage action), the Workboard, My roster, My calendar, Bookings, Messages, Notifications and Get the app. Mobile shops also get Routes. They do not see billing, the catalogue or account settings.
From My roster, each person adds and removes their own days off; you can still set anyone's from the Team tab. On time-based capacity a day off lowers that day's available bookings, and nobody is auto-assigned jobs on a day they are off.
Removing someone
- Open the Team tab, find them, and remove them. Access ends straight away.
- The bookings and notes they created stay on the record.
- Someone with a login who is not on the roster shows in their own list on the Team tab; remove their access from there.
