Custom domains
Serve your booking page from your own address, like book.yourshop.com, instead of the velobook.app URL.
Last updated 2 September 2026
By default your page lives at velobook.app/your-slug. With a custom domain it lives at your own address, such as book.yourshop.com.
You need access to your domain's settings, usually through whoever you bought the domain from (GoDaddy, Namecheap, Cloudflare).
Set it up
- 1Open Shop profile and find the Custom domain field in the Basics card.
- 2Enter the address you want, for example book.yourshop.com. A subdomain like "book" is the usual choice.
- 3Add the CNAME record Velobook shows you with your domain provider: name book, value velobook.app.
- 4Choose Connect, then Check status to confirm it is live.
Domain changes usually take effect within minutes, but can take up to around 24 hours. If Check status does not pass straight away, give it time and try again.
Search engines follow it too
A successful Check status also tells search engines your domain is the official address for your booking pages, and your sitemap moves over with it. Until it passes, search results keep pointing at your velobook.app page, so come back and press it once the domain has settled.
Your velobook.app link still works
Your original velobook.app/your-slug address keeps working, so existing links and bookmarks are safe.
