Custom domains

Serve your booking page from your own address, like book.yourshop.com, instead of the velobook.app URL.

By default your page lives at velobook.app/your-slug. With a custom domain it can live at your own address instead, such as book.yourshop.com, so the whole booking experience stays on your brand.

You will need access to your domain's DNS settings, usually through whoever you bought the domain from (for example GoDaddy, Namecheap, or Cloudflare).

Set it up

  1. 1Open Shop profile in the admin and find the Custom domain field in the Basics card.
  2. 2Enter the address you want, for example book.yourshop.com. A subdomain like "book" is the usual choice.
  3. 3Add the CNAME record Velobook shows you with your domain provider: name book, value velobook.app.
  4. 4Choose Connect to register the domain and provision HTTPS, then Check status to confirm it is live.
DNS can take a little while

DNS changes usually take effect within minutes, but can take up to around 24 hours. If Check status does not pass straight away, give it some time and try again before assuming something is wrong.

Adding a custom domain does not break your original velobook.app/your-slug address. Both keep working, so existing links and bookmarks are safe.
